ALL SOULS MASS OFFERINGS
November is a special month in the Church set aside for prayer on behalf of the dead, especially on the Feast of All Souls. St. Mary is collecting intentions for all our departed loved ones. If you would like to have your loved one(s) commemorated, with other loved ones of our parish family, during the Prayers of the Faithful at Masses on November 1st and throughout the month of November, please write their name(s) on an envelope and place your intentions in the offertory basket, the collection box, or at the Parish Office before October 30th.
Everyone is invited to bring a small photograph or other memento of the loved one you wish to pray for, placing them near the altar during the November 1st Mass. We will prayerfully read the names and remember all for whom we have celebrated funerals here at St. Mary during the past year.
Please use an envelope marked All Souls Mass and the name of the person/people to be remembered at the All Souls Mass of Remembrance. The deceased loved ones will be prayed for collectively at the prayers of the faithful during Mass on All Souls Day.
Mass offerings are optional and go to the DCJM, not St. Mary Catholic Parish and are not considered tax deductible gifts. All Souls envelopes without names written are considered offertory to St. Mary Catholic Parish.

FUNERAL LUNCHEON MINISTRY
The St. Mary Funeral Luncheon Ministry thanks those who have volunteered to help with food and hosting at the funeral luncheons. We would also like to invite EVERYONE to attend any upcoming funerals that are posted above the left side bulletin box in the vestibule. As Catholic Christians, we Believe in the Resurrection and that Hope is in the Mass. Whether you know the person or not, your presence, prayers and quiet support at the Mass speaks VOLUMES. You, therefore, are doing that corporal work of mercy of helping to bury the dead and comfort the sorrowful. Our Ministry and Parish thank you, and as St. Paul said to the Romans, “Each of us will be a blessing to the other.”
