Come, Let Us Adore
The cross. We are saved by the cross, and yet who among us has not known the pain of the cross? This once-a-year action of coming forward to adore the cross is full of contradictions. We come to adore an instrument of torture, though the reality of what this is may be dulled through familiarity, even beauty as we use the cross for jewelry and adornment. And we call this day “Good.” Indeed it is, for it is by our Lord’s death on the cross that we are set free. So we can adore the cross of Christ with a kiss or a touch, and in that action bring to the Lord our weaknesses and open our hearts to accept our own crosses.

- Pope Leo has asked our parish to support the Pontifical Good Friday collection which helps Christians in the Holy Land. Through the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, you stand in solidarity with the Church in the Holy Land as a witness of peace, supporting Catholics there in parishes and schools, maintaining Christian shrines and caring for refugees in the Holy Land. Please be generous during the offertory collection on Good Friday!

A Day of Reflection and Prayer
Holy Saturday is a day of silent waiting and preparation for the celebration of Easter. Let us spend the day with our Lady in reflection on Jesus's sacrifice, contemplation of his death, and waiting in anticipation for his glorious return.

The Easter Fire
This is the night! We gather in the darkness after two days of immense prayer and worship. We gather with our Elect and Candidates, eager and hungry, around a great fire. This holy fire dispels the darkness, as it is on this night that the darkness of death is cast out by the light of Christ. Tonight we celebrate the death of all death. We bless this fire and from it we light a great candle, proclaiming Christ the Light of the World.
Easter Celebrations - April 4th & April 5th
- Easter Vigil in the Holy Night begins at 8:00 pm.
- Resurrection Reception follows Mass.
- Easter Egg Hunt after Easter Vigil. Please bring your Easter Basket to collect eggs at the Easter Vigil reception.
- Easter Sunday Mass 7:30 am, 9:30 am, 11:30 am.
- No Confessions and no 5:00 Mass.
Easter Monday- April 6th
- Please note that there are no Confessions and only one Mass at 8:15 am.
The Parish Office will be closing at noon today and will remain closed through Easter Monday. There will only be one Mass at 8:15 am and no confessions on Easter Monday.
The office will re-open on Tuesday, April 7th and the normal daily Mass schedule will resume.
